(ISC)2 membership provides access to free cybersecurity courses and labs

Back in April of 2019 I passed the SSCP certification and as a result became an (ISC)2 member. Until today, I wasn't aware that they provide free training classes for their members.

Back in April of 2019 I passed the SSCP certification and as a result became an (ISC)2 member. Until today, I wasn't aware that they provide free training classes for their members.

You can find the training located under the "Professional Development" section of "Education & Training" on the (ISC)2 member portal.

Training is located under Professional Development

They have three categories of training, Immersive, Express and Lab courses. It does appear that all courses in the Professional Development section are free for members.

The labs at the moment seem to focus on forensics and application security. While the other categories cover a broad range from AI and malware analysis, to cyber insurance. A bit of something for everyone.

These courses all appear to count towards CPEs, so if you want to renew your (ISC)2 certification that would be handy. Now I'm wondering what training is provided by the memberships I have through other certifications?

Personally, I only have a single (ISC)2 certification, the SSCP, but I am working on CCSP and CISSP. I'll add those to my alphabet soup soon enough! (GCDA, CCNA (R&S), SSCP, CSIS (A+,Net+,Sec+), Project+, ECIH, ECES, CCNT, MTA (net), ACE).

I'll sit the test for CCSP in a few weeks. Maybe I'll write up a post on it.
